AVRO EX RETURNS TO ITS ROOTS
AVRO EX 2010 will now take place on Friday 8th October and Saturday 9th October 2010.
Due to the unexpected cancellation of this year’s exhibition at the Ricoh Centre Coventry, AVRO EX 2010 organising team have decided to go back to the shows roots and have secured the Chateau Impney Hotel, in Worcestershire for this year’s event.
Some 30 years ago AVRO held an AGM and evening social event at the Chateau Impney, as news of this event spread through the industry, manufacturers etc contacted AVRO and asked if they could attend. At the time of arranging the AGM and members social event a trade “exhibition” had not been envisaged. Several manufacturers attended the event and it was a 100% success, and for the next 3 years it remained at Chateau Impney expanding every year. This was the start of recovery exhibitions and AVRO scored a first yet again.
The event itself will be aimed more at the social side of AVRO EX with a seminar, AGM, free and easy night and finishing off with The Lady President’s Gala Dinner. In keeping with 30 years ago any manufacturer who wishes to come along is welcome, there is no charge, however we will restrict the numbers, in order to keep things manageable.
AVRO have secured special rates for accommodation at under £60.00 per room including full English breakfast and the cost of the Gala Dinner will be around £40.00 + VAT per head.
Please do not leave it to the last minute to book your place as accommodation at the Hotel is limited and there are sure to be large numbers in attendance.
