Park Lodge International in Partnership with Redhill Aerodrome Fire Service present details of 2010/11 National Vehicle Fire Investigation Courses both standard and advanced.
The aim of these courses is to develop the skills needed to investigate vehicles involved in fire incidents. The course will be of particular interest to Police Officers of the Collision/Accident Investigation Department, Vehicle Examiners, Forensic Science Officers, Fire Officers, SOCO’s, Vehicle Inspectors and Insurance Investigators, standard course 1 day and advanced is 2 days.

_ The chemistry of fire and flash points covering – petrol, diesel, brake fluid, liquefied petroleum gas,

_ Group discussions on fire development, methods of deliberate fire setting (A)
_ Setting a deliberate fire for the other group to investigate (A)
_ Presentation including evidence gathered to course (A)
_ Fire investigation on vehicles that have been involved in fire both accidental and deliberate.
_ Reviews and presentations by groups. (S&A)
