Smart Innovation Ltd have re-invented the wheel with the release of a brand new product:
The CROG Car Recovery Wheel.
Designed for the vehicle recovery and bodyshop market, the CROG is a thin, universal fit wheel with a multiple-hole centre configuration designed to fit all three, four and five stud wheel hubs.
It has an offset deep enough to cope with the largest brake caliper and a diameter that will accommodate almost every car likely to need recovery.
This means that any bodyshop or recovery operator that comes across a wheel-less car can collect the car in one visit with the minimum of inconvenience, thereby saving time, money and temper.
With a wheel thickness of only 60mm, it is possible to fit four wheels into the same space as a standard recovery trucks spare wheel, and a lockable bracket is provided with the start-up kit. Also provided in the kit is a small toolbox carrying enough nuts & bolts to suit all popular current car’s wheel- hubs.
